Custom homes in Atlanta have surged throughout the 21st century and continue to outshine track homes despite the 2008 housing recession. Atlanta is setting new trends and helping to lead the country in architectural styles and has done so with a modern blend of many classic architectural types.

Now that the housing recession of 2008 is in full swing, it’s interesting to see the impact this has on builders. Many builders with thin margins are starting to drop out of business, slash prices, and make desperate moves to get a sale.
